We purchased an old 5 acre estate which was partially in the Chapel Hill Historic District. The property was served by a gravel drive, and it consisted of 5 existing lots of various configurations. The existing plantings were mature and shady branches overhung the drive. We reconfigured thi lots into 4 building sites, and improved and paved Mint Springs Lane to provide utilities and serve all of the building sites. We took great care to preserve the existing landscape features and to add new features which blended with the existing. Below are three of the homes.
