Our clients bought a large piece of land in North Raleigh which contained a mature pond and an old fishing cabin which was plain, but structurally sound.  We designed a large addition which incorporated the cabin in order to create a spacious family home of a coherent design overlooking the pond.  The house has an informal feeling and contains a sunroom and solar hot water heating among a number of energy conscious features.
