The Renwick Residence was custom designed for a large site overlooking a well-established pond in Orange County, outside Chapel Hill.  The house was designed to take advantage of the view from the main living areas and master bedroom suite.  A large mudroom entry from the yard connects to the kitchen with a gate to contain a couple of big dogs who loved swimming in the pond.  We later designed and built a pool and cabana and a gazebo to go with the main house, and our last project for this homestead was the design of a donkey barn.  See the pool and cabana in the “Gardens” area of our site.
